However, this meeting will not be exclusively about the commonly known anorexia and bulimia. We will explore lesser-known eating disorders such as bigorexia, orthorexia, PICA, and others.
During the meeting, we will answer questions such as:
❓ What types of eating disorders are there?
❓ What criteria must be met to diagnose a specific eating disorder?
❓ What factors influence the onset and development of eating disorders?
❓ Is orthorexia included in contemporary classifications such as ICD-10, DSM-5, and the upcoming ICD-11?
❓ What is PICA? How can it be recognized and diagnosed?
❓ Is bigorexia considered an eating disorder? What are its characteristics?
