Unique form of street art
Blue Angels is another example of a unique form of street art in Praga Północ. The first blue figures depicting angels appeared at Ząbkowska Street in June 2010. The figurines were installed in various places in Prague, so that passersby could follow their trail while discovering the mysterious places of the district – thus contributing to its promotion.
The angels are made of epoxy resin reinforced with a metal structure. The author of the “City of Angels” project is Marek Sułek, who emphasizes that the goal of angels is not to be religious references, but to refer to the old Prague tradition of the guardian angel and chapels. The project was created in cooperation with the Praga Północ District Office of the Capital City of Warsaw
