Shrine on the Ząbkowska 7 street

You can already see the courtyard shrine through the gate of the tenement house. Made of bricks with a statue of the Virgin Mary, was rebuilt as a “house” with a gable roof. Behind the lattice door there are also crosses, a few smaller pictures, a photo of the Pope and vases with artificial flowers. Tenement house was built in 1880 for Szmul Kalina and then extended. At the beginning of the century, the inhabitants were Jews. A private house of prayer was operated here. In 1908, there was a Tauba Grudstein grocery store and, until 1939, Abraham Grossinger’s teahouse.
