Do you want to meet a renowned actor with film and theater experience – Neil Royston?
Neil Royston – experienced in theatre, film, radio, and television. Worked for the BBC alongside Brendan Gleeson. Love and fatherhood meant he would move to live with his future wife in Switzerland. There he worked as an English teacher, postman, and mainly did voice-over work. He continued to work in the theatre when work came his way and also did a short film.
Over the last ten years, he has written four plays for the stage, produced and directed his own professional productions, and conducted various theatre workshops in Switzerland and Czechia. He also uses applied theatre techniques to teach anthropology and is a visiting tutor at Masaryk University. Here in Warsaw, he wants to establish a theatre company with Polish actors producing work in English for a wider Warsaw audience. He has two daughters.
He is not afraid of the “reptilian side” of man, and he compares acting to bamboo, which is both hard and flexible.
The trial is an introduction to summer workshops for experienced amateurs and semi-professionals at the price of PLN 800 / for a course of 9 meetings.
